Summary
Lee Hae-won, a black ops agent of the National Intelligence Service.
She first encountered Kwon Yeon-woo, codenamed Echo One and the youngest son of the President, in Myawadi, where he had been kidnapped.
“I shall follow your orders, Angel.”
Despite his refined appearance, his tone was oddly sardonic, and his attitude was infuriatingly slick. Even in a combat zone where it wouldn’t have been strange to die at any moment, he remained unnervingly relaxed.
“It seems Yeon-woo is up to something suspicious. Agent Lee Hae-won, I want you to handle his surveillance rather than his protection. Can you do it?”
If it hadn’t been for the President’s direct request, she would never have looked at that madman a second time. And so, becoming both Kwon Yeon-woo’s bodyguard and his watchdog, she began to shadow him like a ghost….

“Stop acting like a bodyguard and try looking like my lover instead. Then I’ll consider it.”
“Tell me exactly what you want, and I’ll prepare for it. I’ll make sure I look like the perfect lover.”
The demands of this deranged man exceeded all imagination.
“Why go this far?”
“Because if I don’t, I feel like you’ll ditch me entirely. You’re exactly that kind of person.”
“…”
“If that happens, I’ll become an incompetent agent who failed a mission personally assigned by the President. My position within the team would be compromised.”
Hae-won had no intention of backing down easily.
“Where are you going?”
“I need to treat your wounds.”
But whenever he acted with such tenderness, the reason, which had to remain cold, constantly began to blur.
“Why? Are you going to hold me while I sleep after I lose consciousness again?”
“No. That won’t happen.”
“Was it all a joke back then? Were you just playing with me because I was a woman you’d never see again?”
It couldn’t be true, and it shouldn’t be…
But damn it, feelings were starting to bleed into this mission.
